Work Tasks
- Teach students to speak a foreign language
- Teach words, the rules of grammar, and how to write in a foreign language
- Plan and assign homework, prepare and grade tests, listen to students' speech, and keep classrooms in order
- May use film, slides, projectors, or computers to help teach lessons
- Work for private and public schools, colleges and universities, community recreation programs, adult education programs
- Work with books, computers, exams, quizzes, and reports (spoken and written), and student records
