Work Tasks

WEBSITE DEVELOPERS create web pages for the World Wide Web (WWW), and for Intranets. They are responsible for the day-to-day site design and creation. They may coordinate the work of content authors, graphic artists, and programmers; or do some or all of the work themselves. They develop web pages that can serve any purpose of communication, and contain all types of information, taking into consideration the conventions and etiquette of the Web. Web pages may contain links, special hypertext, or icons, that take the user to related pages or different websites altogether. They test the website to make sure it works properly.
