A Unique Network of Education and Workplace Professionals
ACT Professional Learning Community (PLC) members work across the K-career spectrum and share a passion for bringing diverse groups of education and workplace professionals together, creating space to connect and communicate, and ensuring educational and career success for all learners. The community has members in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, and includes:
- More than 16,000+ members — and growing.
- 350+ actively engaged regional council members who guide PLC work and help plan ACT Regional Events.
- Up to 24 elected National Leadership Council members who work to identify initiatives and ensure their alignment with the mission, goals, and objectives of ACT.

Bobby Rush is the director of customer experience and leads the ACT Professional Learning Community, spearheading efforts to create intersections of ideas and action on issues crucial to education and workplace success. Bobby collaborates closely with grassroots volunteers across all 50 states and the District of Columbia, facilitating meaningful dialogue among educators, policymakers, and workforce leaders. Bobby is a key connector between councils, helping to drive initiatives that improve student outcomes and workforce readiness.
