Information to Help Understand Past and Future Students

The ACT Retention/Attrition Service Report compares student academic and demographic information for the previous year's first-time ACT-tested freshmen who returned for their second year with those students who did not return.

Report contents include the following tables:

  • Introduction—Overview of High School GPA, College GPA, and ACT Composite
  • Tables 1A & 1B—Academic Characteristics: Number, ACT Composite Averages, and Percentages
  • Tables 2A & 2B—Demographic Characteristics: Number, ACT Composite Averages, and Percentages
  • Table 3—High School Academic Course Preparation
  • Table 4—High Schools with Highest Rate of Returning Second-Year Students*
  • Table 5—High Schools with Lowest Rate of Returning Second-Year Students*

*Electronic report will include data for the top 25 and bottom 25 feeder high schools, and a separate data file (CSV) will include ALL HIGH SCHOOLS.
