Mitch joined ACT in 2020. He is currently a Senior Director and provides leadership and direction to the Internal Audit and Operational Excellence (Lean Six Sigma / Process Engineering) functions while reporting to the ACT Audit Committee. Mitch has spent 20 years in the audit and finance fields and has held various roles of increasing responsibility with Transamerica/AEGON, Johnson Controls, and PwC.
Mitch earned a B.B.A. in Accounting and Management Information Systems from the University of Iowa. Mitch also holds an M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and an M.S. in Analytics from the University of Iowa. In addition, Mitch is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
Mitch is currently a board member of the Iowa City Community School District Foundation and an Advisory Council member for the Tippie College of Business Analytics.
